Been thinking a lot of art of Eadweard Muybridge and William Kentridge.
Eadweard is arguably the father of cinema and created the first film ever when he photographed the motion of a horse in 1878.
William is a contemporary artist who does everything, including short films. He uses charcoal drawings and each frame has the echos of smudges from his previous drawing. It’s a beautiful technique. I recommend seeing his work in-person.
This Triptych is inspired by a blend of their work.
In three frames, a dancer gives us that rarest type of beauty… Power+Grace.
Lizzie is one of my two favorite models to have ever worked with. Her every move is a work of art.
